What I like about this story is how it encapsulates the true Biblical stories about the gifts of the Holy Spirit! I am amazed by how the characters are in this book has but it didn’t lose the story’s essence, which is all about the Word of God!
Just by scanning through the pictures and drawings, you can immediately tell that this should be prized as the best children’s book of all time! Plus, the title is very witty and attention-grabbing.
In this book, children will learn about the Word of God. The story focuses on the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
I could not be more struck by how Steve Axtell organized the story into something like this! You would never believe that it’s a book about Christianity, if you start reading the story without knowing the title.
If I could choose a favorite book among all of my son's story book, this one would be it. It speaks the Word of the Lord. Also, the pictures are superb and the plot is extraordinary.
It is not just that! I can notice how Steve Axtell put in great efforts to build this plot for a bible story.
The Word of God being present in a book for children is not something you get to encounter every day.
This book should be known to every kid today! To be honest, I wouldn't believe if you haven't checked out this book yet. It is just too cute and life-inspiring to be taken for granted.
He really knows his way around in the world of literature. He knows what works for his readers and what doesn’t. In this case, his readers are children. He did a perfect job in building up this book altogether - from the graphics, to the plot, the witty title and references from the Holy Bible.
When you read Steve's works, you cannot help but read more. This one in particular, is very fun and interesting. One would get to know more about the gifts of the Holy Spirit and share a laugh at the same time. There are no dull moments with this children's book. I really doubt your kid would fall asleep if you read it to them as a goodnight story. They will stick until the ending, that’s for sure!
Children easily get distracted and bored. As a preschool teacher for almost seven years, it takes creativity and involvement to keep the young ones interested in the learning process. I always have a book reading session in every class to develop their listening skills and give them a break.
I decided to read the story of Bibles to my students. To my surprise, they immediately loved it that even on the following reading sessions, they suggested the story of Bibles again. I have lost count as to how many times I have read this story to them. Some of them can already recite the lines with me! I am really in disbelief that no matter how many times I read the book, they still get excited.
Believe it or not, Bibles the Monkey That Goes Bananas about the Word of God is a book not only for children, but also a fun book that even adults can enjoy. On top of a nine-year-old main character of the story, Bibles is a representation of every Christian. It fortifies readers to embrace the Word of God for it has the power to change lives and create miracles. The story mainly teaches its readers to have faith and trust in the Holy Spirit that guides us even though unseen moments. The adventure of Bibles proved that with the Holy Spirit by our side, all our questions will be answered and our doubts shall vanish. My daughter and I enjoyed this book and I guarantee you and your child will enjoy this too!
